I stumbled upon this article today. It is old but it made me laugh. While I don't feel quite so strongly about strollers (we have a couple), it is interesting to read.

I bought the heaviest duty double jogging stroller to use while we lived in Africa, and I couldn't get it up the steep dirt hill we lived on! Useless, most of the time! I did use it some on less bumpier roads, but they really aren't practical there for the most part! And Africans are strong! Most don't have armed cushy chairs, etc... we lazy Americans...I'm speaking of myself here.
